This huge tree can be 20 metres high with a diameter of 12 metres and is recognized to be one of the oldest trees in the world. It usually rises alone, in desertic and rocky areas, animating the natural desertscape thanks to its unusual and extraordinary form, with an enormous trunk and with the branches that seem roots turned to the sky.

Baobab treeFive grams of the pulp a day increase the resistance against virii (including flu, cold and herpes), regularize the intestine and glycemic values, reduce cholesterol, improve skin quality, give strength, energy and resistance, re-balance the humour, alleviate menstrual aches as well as having antianaemic and anti-inflammatory functions.
